Community engagement is the process of working collaboratively with community members to address issues that impact their well-being.
Pathfinding is just the beginning.
What We Do
The Pathfinder movement aims to provide a platform for people to be heard and act on collective needs. By joining us, you become a Pathfinder that will be trained in engaging with different communities.
Pathfinders lead the way in our community development model. As some of the first to get on the ground, you will be setting the tone and paving the way forward for working with communities
Mobilising Pathfinders
Pathfinders, as individuals, are frontliners on the ground collecting information, engaging people, and developing relationships with community members. We train, mobilise and support the personal growth of the Pathfinder community.
Asset Mapping
We use information collected to help communities strategise in achieving their goals. We identify community strengths, needs and aspirations to map their direction for development.
Informed Interventions
A roadmap built on solid, community-driven data allows us to work with communities to ensure we are helping them achieve their goals. The right external support can now be channeled to communities through our impact partners.

“Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.” We leverage on the strengths of our growing network of volunteers, social impact organisations, and community partners to achieve our collective goals and prevent redundancy.

We have been actively working with a handful of communities over the past few years. We are now ready to reach out to more. If you know already know a community you would like to engage, we would love to support them with you. Connect with us!
**EPIC has been working with Orang Asli communities in Peninsular Malaysia for the past 8 years. We are planning something big with these particular communities later this year – and we want to make sure we don’t miss anybody. Let us know if you have any friends in particular, and we’d love to talk to them (and you).
