As a Social Impact Executive, you will be reporting to the Social Impact Lead to kickstart the development process in communities by coordinating the asset mapping process and managing relationships with Orang Asli communities. This includes managing and equipping our pool of volunteer Pathfinders.

Job functions may include and are not limited to:

1. Community Engagement

• Connecting with Orang Asli and other communities (marginalised or otherwise)
• Facilitating community discussions
• Maintaining relationship with the communities we previously worked with
• Coordinating with various partner organisations to support communities
• Maintaining our database of communities

2. Pathfinders

• Managing community of volunteer Pathfinders
• Engaging and equipping volunteer Pathfinders for their role

3. Special Innovation Projects

• Assist in special innovation projects. These functions are project specific and may vary depending on the project.

• Adventurous and enjoys exploring new localities, villages and communities.
• Must possess a valid drivers licence, able to drive, possess own transportation and willing to travel to remote locations independently.
• Community facilitation skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficiency in digital and Google Workspace tools (Slides, Doc, Sheet, Meet), visual editing and video editing skills are a plus.
• Creative ability to problem-solve.
• Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
• Skill in prioritising and triaging obligations.
• Excellent time management and organisation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Self-start and can-do attitude; ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

• Ideally 2-3 years working experience, however, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in social enterprise is ideal but not required.

We will commensurate with relevant work experience and qualifications within the range of RM2500-RM3500.
